It is now pretty clear that "Social Media" are well established. Ahead of IPEX and the next few months I think I could start to clarify some points. Print is now part of communication. Repeating things from other blogs but it seems to reflect what happens. The London College of Communication is still a place for people who prefer the name with Print in it. Perhaps there is a reason why decisions are made. Now Media and Design, will this become clearer during IPEX? What is meant and how is the fit with print and publishing?
Adobe launch Creative Suite 5. Seems to be a clean break with PDF and Postscript. Nothing on Acrobat as such so far. There could be an online development later in the year but it may just be another plug for Flash. I think I will concentrate on alternatives within Adobe Classic and just look on Flash as fun. There is still an interest in print and text.
